Questions? Answered

Frequently Asked Questions.

Do you accept vouchers?
Yes.
What happens if my voucher doesn't cover the full cost?
Families are responsible for the difference of the tuition rate and voucher.
What supplies do I need?
Please provide any necessary personal care items for your little one, like diapers, wipes, two full changes of clothing, and naptime bedding. For infants, please supply a crib sheet. For toddlers and older children, please bring a blanket and/or sleeping bag. Many of our locations also ask that you pack lunch for your child each day. All items should be labeled with your child's first and last name. We offer an exclusive discount with a popular label company for enrolled families to help make the process easier! Please contact your local School for additional details.
Do children go outside every day?
As long as the weather permits, children play outside every day! The KTA playgrounds are an extension of the classrooms, and teachers are great at planning playtime, nature walks, picnics, and other outdoor learning opportunities.
Do you provide meals?
We provide nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks as part of their daily program.
What types of qualifications do teachers have?
Our experienced teachers meet all state and/or local regulations and have access to continuous training provided by the state and external experts. We train teachers on a regular basis in health and safety regulations, education standards, and more.
What is the child-to-teacher ratio?
KTA follows the local- and state-mandated teacher-child ratio. We're proud to offer small class sizes that allow for individualized learning and care for each child.
Are all teachers and staff first aid and CPR certified?
Yes, all School faculty and administrators are certified in first aid and CPR.
Can I enroll at any time?
Yes, you can enroll at KTA at any time throughout the year.
What are your rates?
Our tuition rates are comparable to others in your local premium childcare market. Contact KTA for inquiries.
What is included in tuition?
At KTA, our tuition rates are designed to reflect the exceptional care, education, and experiences to help your child thrive. Tuition rates vary based on a few key factors, including the age of your child, the program they're enrolled in, and your child's schedule. Please contact KTA to schedule a tour and learn more about our tuition rates.
What safety precautions does KTA have in place to keep my child safe?
You can trust that your child is safe while at KTA. Faculty are trained to swiftly react and follow emergency protocols and procedures. All staff members are first aid and CPR certified and trained in child abuse awareness and prevention. Some of the security measures we have include controlled entry systems, surveillance cameras on the playgrounds, stringent visitor policies, and gate alarms. We conduct monthly fire drills and quarterly emergency drills.
How do your Schools handle food allergies?
Food and snack selections are chosen on a classroom basis, taking individual allergies into consideration. Teachers are trained in awareness of food allergies and how to administer epinephrine. If food is brought into School for birthday celebrations, it cannot be homemade and needs to be in original packaging to ensure it's safe to serve.
Does my child need to be vaccinated to attend KTA?
Yes. However, there are children who can attend KTA if they aren't vaccinated based on medical conditions or sincerely held religious belief exemptions. Please note, not all exemptions are recognized in every state. To ensure the health and safety of everyone, if an outbreak occurs and a child has not been vaccinated, they will be asked to stay at home.
